I knew him well at school but lost touch with him in my early 20's. We had some great times, especially through sixth form and the few years afterwards. He was always up for a laugh and certainly loved to get the most out of life. Jon also e-mailed me some time ago suggesting we catch up over a beer but sometimes we tend to let the pressures of time and work take over and we didn't meet.
